This is the entire story about Bobby Robins, 32, a power forward for the Providence Bruins. He recently signed an NHL contract with the Boston Bruins. He takes on the role of the enforcer for the Bruins because of his tenacious and protective style of play. His coach and teammates believe Robins has always played his role within the rules of the game. Aside from his "animalistic persona" on the ice, Robins aspires to be a professional writer when his hockey career is over. He maintains a blog with stories of his own personal experience where he hopes to inspire and motivate people to live a better life. He describes his combined passion for both writing and fighting his "alter ego." In the summer of 2013, Robins married his long-time girlfriend from his hometown in Northern Wisconsin. They gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Liberty Ann Robins just two weeks before the interview was taped. In the story, Robins discusses his life as a professional hockey player, fighter, writer, husband, and father.
